SSL

    Hi,
I have a Simply.com domain hosted with WordPress. My site is not secured and is missing the SSL. I read that WordPress activates the SSL automatically. It has been a while and I still don’t have an SSL (my site is still note secured). Can you help me with this?

  • Hi there!

I understand that you’re referring to the site nataliejacobsen.site, is that right?

That site is not connected to a WordPress.com site, it’s currently pointing to Simply.com nameserver, so that’s why you are not benefiting from our SSL. Right now, the site is only connected to your WordPress.com account through a plugin called Jetpack, but it’s not using our servers.

You’ll probably want to reach out to Simply.com about the SSL options they offer, or, you’re welcome to create your site on WordPress.com and either transfer or connect your domain to your site here.

We offer different plans depending on what you need. All of the annual paid plans come with a free domain registration for the first year (if you’d prefer transferring it), connecting is also included in the price of the plan.

You can read more about our plans here:

    https://wordpress.com/pricing/.

Let me know if you have any more questions, I’d be happy to clarify further!
