Hi, URGENT PLEASE. It has just come to my notice that our SSL cert has expired. Please advise me how/where I can renew it asap including any links etc. I might not be ‘on the account’ but I have assumed responsibility in this matter. I am Commercial Director at Emerse and can be reached on [REDACTED]

Hi there,
our SSL cert has expired
All sites hosted on WordPress.com have SSL enabled by default and it shouldn’t expire. As @enile8 requested, please share with us the full address of your website so we can make sure you are getting the right support. Thanks.
I’ve also flagged this thread for Staff assistance in removing your personal information from your post as this is a public forum.
@enile8 If you haven’t had a chance yet, you’ll want to read our guide to volunteering at https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-com-volunteers/ Cheers. -
Thanks both. It is emerse.com I also noticed another ‘party’ that seems to be involved, netping.com and I have tried contacting them too.

@rfwhelan it seems that the site is hosted on Google Cloud. Also, the certificate looks to have been updated. It’s valid from 02/Nov/2021 to 31/Jan/2022
@justjennifer thank you I completely missed the PI. -

Hello again @rfwhelan Just for future reference if you need assistance with hosting configuration, that’s best done directly with your web hosting provider. If you need assistance with the WordPress software itself, head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
These support forums you’ve posted to assists users with free websites hosted on the WordPress.com platform. You can read more about these differences at
