SSL Certificate

  Hi!

  We host our site on wordpress.com and have added the wordpress-dns to our domain-registrar control panel.

  We’re using a 3rd party system to manage our members at officernd.com. To get a custom domain for our members portal, I need to follow the instructions provided at https://help.officernd.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002216394-Custom-Domain-for-Members-Portal.

  I’ve added the subdomain community.socentral.no as a CNAME in the wordpress domain-setup, but I don’t see any way to get the certificate files mentioned in the link above. How do I do this?

  Hi there,

  You need to contact a certificate issuing authority to get a certificate for your subdomain as we only issue certificates for domains and subdomains that are hosted with us.

  While your domain is hosted with us (socentral.no), your subdomain (community.socentral.no) is not. Therefore we can’t issue a certificate for that subdomain.
