SSL certificate

  I’m looking to start up a website for my wife’s business and was shopping around the different website builders.
  Does wordpress provide the SSl certificate for security? If so, who do you use and do I have to install it?
  My brother-in-law works for a security company and can get me a free certificate, is there a way I can install my own SSL certificate? If so, how is the process for that, is it difficult?

  Howdy,

  You don’t have to install SSL certificates because WordPress.com sites have the SSL Certificates applied from Let’s Encrypt.
