  why is my site not secure? and what do i do about it?

  Hi @spiltcoconutmilk, could you send a link to the site you’re having trouble with? Generally SSL should just work on our servers, but if it’s not we can likely spot the issue.

  Please note these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com. For help with a site hosted somewhere else, the host will be in charge of SSL. Then, you’ll want to use the forums for self-managed WordPress installations instead.
