SSL Certificate

  Hi there, I have looked to add an SSL certificate to my site, but according to support it is automatically added to all WordPress sites. The box to add the URL for it is blank. Do I need to do anything further? Many thanks, Emma

  Hey, Emma!

  If your site is on WordPress.com (which is what’s supported here in these forums), the SSL certificate should already be automatically installed. You don’t have to worry about it at all. Is your site perhaps on the self-hosted WordPress.org?

  These are two different entities (see https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/ for a comparison). If your site happens to be on WordPress.org, you’ll have more luck asking for help at the WordPress.org forums instead: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
