  Hi id like to know when i direct this page to my domain how do i get a ssl certificate? is it provided from my subscription now

  Hi there,

  All sites hosted on WordPress.com have https enabled by default, so you don’t have to do anything to set up a SSL certificate on your domain.

  However, this is only the case if we host the domain. If the domain’s name servers or IP address points to a different hosting provider, we can’t issue a SSL certificate for it, even if it’s connected here via a domain connection upgrade, as we’re not the hosting provider in that case.

  So if you already have a domain connected to your site, you need to complete the process of pointing the domain’s name servers to us before the domain will be hosted here, and we’ll be able to issue the SSL certificate.
