SSL Certificate Error
-
Hey,
When I send my website link via email it is saying unsecure connection when opened from the email to a web browser.
After running my site through an SSL checker it is saying mismatched URL’s are causing a problem as none of the common names in the certificate match the name that was entered. Just wondering what can be done?
Thanks

Hey thanks for your reply, my website is – https://scottturnercreativeblog.wordpress.com/
Thanks again

Thank you for sharing that information. The site is loading properly for me.
If someone tries to access your site via http and not https the http version should automatically redirect to the https. You can test that out in your browser. WordPress.com handles all of this behind the scenes for you. There’s no additional SSL needed with a WordPress.com hosted site.
Which browser and version are you using? Is there a fire wall or browser extensions enabled? Does this happen on other networks or devices?

staff-zinnia it was happening to me yesterday on firefox, edge, and chrome but is not happening today. Don’t know what you did but it worked (at least for me)!
