SSL certificate issues

    Hello,

We are having several issues with our company website regarding SSL. There was a misconfiguration in the DNS records that pointed the @ A record to a domain parking IP. This has recently been fixed, so it might take some time to properly reflect.

    • SSL certificate status shows as pending for the domain friedmanfisher.com (it is externally managed but A records for ‘@’ and ‘www’ are now correctly pointed to the specified IPs
    • Visiting friedmanfisher.com brings up the correct website, but no HTTPS connection is established; is there a way to have the connection automatically resolve to https:// so the “not secure” badge disappears?
    • Visiting http://www.friedmanfisher.com also resolves the correct address, however visitors are greeted with a security warning stating that the common name of the certificate is invalid. The common name of the certificate is currently set to *.wordpress.com and not *.friedmanfisher.com. According to the docs, the *.friedmanfisher.com address should be listed as a DNS SAN in the certificate, but the current SAN is still set to *.wordpress.com.

    Please assist, thank you

Could you please check and confirm that you’re seeing a secure connection when you visit your site? If not, you might want to try using a different browser or clearing your browser cache.
