SSL certificate pending

Hello, I have the domain digitalbee.one with WordPress.com, but the site has been deleted as I need this domain to redirect to my new site abeille.marketing. This is not happening and when I navigate to digitalbee.one the page is blocked by my antivirus, so no redirect is happening. Additionally, due to this issue, I cannot inform Google or Bing of the change of address, losing those few backlinks I managed to get. On my domain page in WordPress.com the SSL certificate is still pending. Can someone speed it up please? This is bad, please help!!

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there!

We issue free SSL certificates for sites hosted on WordPress.com. It appears you registered only the domain with us. Your actual WordPress.org site is hosted by a different hosting company. Please contact your host for help with getting SSL certificates installed on your site.

    To clarify:

There are two types of WordPress sites: WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

    • WordPress.com is a managed host platform that offers WordPress in a pre-customized server environment already set up for you to build your site. Hosting with WordPress.com is free, and the server, security, updates, and site optimization are all handled by us. We offer free and paid plans that provide additional features for your site based on your needs (plugins, custom themes, etc). You also have access to professional assistance via Happiness Engineers to address any issues you encounter.
    • WordPress.org is a self-hosted platform, meaning you download the WordPress software and install it on a web server from a host of your choosing. You have to pay the host when you’re self-hosting, and the server, security, updates, and site optimization are all handled by you. This gives you more flexibility and control of your plugins, themes, and code but also more responsibility to ensure those things are operating correctly.

Our support page dives more into the differences:

I recommend contacting your site host, as they would be better positioned to assist you since they have access to your account. Also, the open-source forum community is always available and prepared to help users with self-hosted sites: https://wordpress.org/support/forums

    Regards

    Hello,

I’m very sorry, I never replied. The issue is solved, I was contacted by the customer service and they fixed it for me. The host change happened afterwards. However, everything works now!

    Thanks a lot,

    Claudia
