SSL Certificate Pending

Hello, I am unable to resolve the following and need assistance, please and thank you:
There are one or more problems with your DNS configuration that prevent an SSL certificate from being issued:
- This domain does not resolve to WordPress.com. Please update the DNS settings to point to WordPress.com. Note that any recent DNS changes may take a few minutes to take effect.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve checked, and the SSL certificate for sdhbooks.com is active now, so you should be all set.
For future reference, please keep in mind that any changes made to a domain’s name servers or DNS records have to get updated at every physical server around the world before the domain will work consistently. Technically speaking, these kinds of changes can take as long as 72 hours to fully propagate across the web (though it’s usually much less than that).

I am having a very similar problem and am unsure of how to proceed if able to assist as well with mine.
Thank you for any thoughts. -
Could you share the domain in question? We can review it and let you know how to proceed so that the SSL certificate can be provisioned smoothly.

What can I do to about this as I had a working website before I moved the domain over to WordPress and now the webpage doesn’t work…
Any help would be massively appreciated!!

I noticed that your domain doesn’t point to WordPress.com IPs, which is why we haven’t been able to provision an SSL certificate yet. Please follow the steps at the link below to restore the default A and CNAME records for your domain:

I reverted the
CNAMEto default CNAME WordPress.com value and provisioned an SSL certificate for it as well — all is good now ✅ -

Hello,
I have the same issue with the domain 959.agency that was transferred to wordpress over a week ago. Could someone assist me in getting this resolved?
Also, will resetting the DNS records cause the gmail using this domain to no longer work? -
@yasithahmed – your domain uses custom
Arecords, pointing to a non-WordPress.com site. This is why we can’t provision an SSL certificate.🚩 Remember that we can only issue SSL certificates for sites hosted on WordPress.com.
If you want to use the domain with your WordPress.com site, here’s how you can reset the
Arecords to the default ones:The default DNS records are the typical records used to show a WordPress.com site when visiting your domain. Hey, @merlijnsebastiaan!
I’ve provisioned an SSL certificate for your domain ✅
@info786e1f9583d — your domain is registered with WordPress.com, but it points to a site hosted by Hostinger (https://whoisthe.host/advfilms.net).
⚠️ We cannot issue SSL certificates for sites not hosted on WordPress.com, so I suggest contacting your hosting provider for further help!
