SSL certificate pending
-
Hi, I transferred my domain to WordPress and I am facing a problem with my domain: elifsanliturk.com. How can I fix it?
–SSL certificate pending
There are one or more problems with your DNS configuration that prevent an SSL certificate from being issued:
- This domain does not resolve to WordPress.com. Please update the DNS settings to point to WordPress.com. Note that any recent DNS changes may take a few minutes to take effect.
Once you have fixed all the issues, you can request a new certificate by clicking the button below.

Hi @sanliturkkelif,
I can confirm that your domain has been successfully transferred here at WordPress.com. You can verify that here: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/elifsanliturk.com
You can now point the nameservers to WordPress.com, away from the current Squarespace nameservers. You may refer to our guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/change-name-servers/#changing-name-servers-to-point-to-wordpress-com
Once you’ve updated the nameservers, please restore the default A records so your domain will fully point to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/view-or-restore-default-dns-records/
The SSL certificates will then be automatically issued for you. If you prefer to manually provision the SSL, please refer to our guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/https-ssl/#manually-provision-ssl
Also, you currently have a paid plan and please feel free to reach out via our internal support channels: https://wordpress.com/support/help-support-options
