“SSL Certificate Pending” for multiple days

    Our SSL certificate has been pending for a couple of days, but in the message box it says it should only take a few hours. In the meantime I’m unable to put our website live because it comes up with a security issue due to the invalid SSL certificate.

    I’ve seen some other similar queries, it looks like this is a common issue and someone from WordPress might be able to push through the new SSL certificate on their end? If that’s possible we’d appreciate the help! Thanks!

    Hello!

    Delays can sometimes happen due to conflicting nameservers on the domain. In your case, you’re using WordPress.com A records and Siteground NS records. The issue was likely because the change in the A record hadn’t fully propagated yet.

    I have resolved the issue, and it should be working now.
