SSL certificate setup for Domain Forwarding from my domain to WordPress

  Hi,
  I have registered my own domain (http) and have forwarded the same to my word press page which is secure (https). On my domain homepage, the Not secure sign pops up and I want to configure SSL certificate between the 2 pages to ensure secure connection from my domain homepage. i.e. http://www..com -> wordpress

  Can someone please guide on the process. I am able to see links which show WordPress -> other domain SSL config, not other way round.

  If you’re talking about a site hosted on WordPress.com then the correct way to ensure https displays for a custom domain is to purchase a paid plan here and map/transfer the domain to the WordPress.com site. Forwarding will always result in what you currently see.

  The domain I mentioned is an external
  One purchased from a domain purchase site.

  I was trying to route the homepage there to wordpress page. Even though the routing is done, I see the “Your connection is not secure” message in the browser. Basically I want to route my http connection to Https at WordPress.
