SSL Certificate Still Pending After Days
-
Hello,
After purchasing a plan on WordPress, we have connected our GoDaddy domain: ImmanuelCult.com, and set it as a primary domain.
However, the SSL is still pending even though it has been almost a week since we connected the domain.
Did we miss a step? And if not, what’s the next step to fix the issue?

Hi there,
After reviewing your domain’s settings, it appears that the SSL certificate cannot be provisioned because DNSSEC is enabled. DNSSEC is a feature that adds an extra layer of security to your domain, but in this case, it’s preventing the SSL from being properly issued.
To resolve this, you’ll need to log in to your domain’s control panel at GoDaddy and find the option to disable DNSSEC. If you’re having trouble finding it, GoDaddy’s support team should be able to guide you through the process.
After you’ve disabled DNSSEC, the SSL certificate should start working. It may take a little time for the changes to propagate across the internet, so please allow up to 24-48 hours for everything to be fully operational.
If you have any further questions or if there’s anything else we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to get back in touch.

Hello, thank you so much for responding.
That is correct I enabled it before transferring to WordPress!
However, I didn’t find the DNSSEC on GoDaddy. So, I disconnected the nameservers from WordPress and reconnected them again. This prompted the DNSSEC tab to show up again. It says that it is off now. I reconnected the domain to WordPress again.
I will wait to see if this solves the problem. Thank you!
