SSL Error

I tried to access my domain at https://benjaminjames.net Yet I ended up getting an error message saying.

“This is probably not the website you are looking for!
You attempted to reach benjaminjames.net, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as *wordpress.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of benjaminjames.net.

You should not proceed especially if you have never seen this warning before this site.”

Can this be fixed? I don’t want visitors coming to my site and seeing a warning message.

    Hi there,

Your domain is not configured to have an SSL on the front of site, so should only be visited at http, rather than https. Most sites online are not (and do not need to be) set up with an SSL on their front of site unless they are going to be accepting personal information.

Your dashboard is however setup with an SSL so all of your information is protected when you’re logged in!
