ssl error when accessing my site

    Recently I began getting am SSL error when trying to access my site.

    ‘Your connection is not private
    Attackers might be trying to steal your information from box5888.temp.domains (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more
    NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID’

    I recently installed an antivirus app (Avast) on my laptop but I’ve turned that off and I’m still getting the error. Any other suggestions on what to try?

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please contact your hosting provider directly for help with this.
