SSL issues

  A user is having issues getting on the site with Safari and Chrome saying that the SSL ‘this certificate is not valid (expired root).

  I have not seen this issue myself nor on others that I know about. Any thoughts?

  I can see an SSL functioning ok on that URL without a problem.

  Does clearing the cache on the browsers of which this appears clear that issue? https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
