  my domain connected to my wordpress website has no ssl yet

  Hi there,

  If you buy your domain separately from the WordPress plan, you need to connect it to your WordPress.com site. The following guidelines will help you set it up https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  The SSL certificate addition will then automatically proceed shortly after the connecting of domain, which may usually takes up 72 hours for the domain-site mapping to take effect. https://wordpress.com/support/domains/https-ssl/#why-is-my-site-missing-an-ssl-certificate.
