SSL on public blog pages to safe blog visitors
-
hello dear staff,
I´d like to make safe the http connections on my contact page on my blog http://www.B2Baltic.eu . The contact forms don´t have actually any SSL certiifcation and don´t protect the data when visitors fill in and send it.
How can we offer secure connection to our visitors at least in the form pages?
Please let me know.
cheers

I am afraid that it is not possible to purchase an SSL certificate for WordPress.com sites.
-
sure, I understand, but trend says people don´t want to send their details through not secure connection, so if they found not SSL area they don´t fill in the fields and abandon the form.
secondly the form are not working very properly: if you set up the form with more fields with a specific order e.g. from A to Z, you will get an e-mail with all fields mixed together A T D B Z C instead A B C D E etc
Can I suggest to repair the form module and think about using the SSL of WordPress or install an SSL just to protect the form of the members who use the form modules? -
You are correct about people becoming more aware and concerned about the security of their personal information. It is a legitimate suggestion and I will pass it on.
