SSL Questions

We recieved an email from Google, altering us that the host name of our site, https://8branches.com, does not match any of the “Subject Names” in our SSL certificate.

    Which were:

    *.wordpress.com
    wordpress.com

As a result, many web browsers will block users from accessing our site, or display a security warning message when our site is accessed. We looked up authenticating with a SSL Client Certificate by using the email address, but are having trouble.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are trying to access a site on WordPress.com with a custom domain (like yours) using the https:// version of the address, you will get an SSL warning (which will vary a bit between browsers). This is expected, because WordPress.com doesn’t support SSL for mapped domains. You do not need a certificate, and this is the same situation that has always existed on WordPress.com, so there’s no need to worry about it.
