Staff : Please Help Move Subscribers Over to New .ORG Account

  Hello.
  I had a pre existing wordpress.com account at http://hangerbay.wordpress.com/ and have recently purchased a self hosted space, and imported my blog to it. The new self hosted site is http://thehangerbay.com/ . Would a staff member be able to help move my subscribers from my old account to my new one? I did use thehangerbay.com URL for my free account but since have changed the nameservers to the new self hosted account.
  Will this mean my subscribers will receive emais when I post? And will my subscriber count etc. return?
  PS. I have jetpack installed if that’s of any help to know.

  Is JetPack also configured?

  yes your subscribers will receive an email when you make a new Post – your stats and subscriber count will also transfer

  Thanks for letting me know. Yes JetPack is configured as far as I’m aware. I have plenty of the features active at the moment – including ‘Subscriptions’, although the options to show a subscribe check-box with the comment form at the bottom of each post is “on” in the configure page, they show up with the comment form but no text informing readers what the check-boxes actually do.

  Your email followers will continue to receive email updates, and your WordPress.com followers will continue to see your new posts in the Reader. If your WordPress.com followers would like to receive email updates, as well, they can subscribe via email on your new blog.

  Sorry I have one more question – are you able to import stats as well such as views/visitors etc. ?

  Sure thing! I just transferred your stats over to your new blog, so you should be all set with that. :)
