Staff Support For Edin Theme 3 Featured Front Pages–Not Showing Up Please Help

    Hey!
    I read that the page needs to be set as a Front Page. I read the Edin Theme page instructions over and over again.

    But I can’t find how to do it! When I chose Edin, it automatically becomes the home page, and there is no option whatsoever for ‘Page Attributes’. The only thing I can do is click it and it takes me to the homepage.

    I even tried creating another Edin page, but when I click ‘Add Page’, Edin is not one of the options available under the ‘Home Pages’ selections.

    I don’t have any idea if the layout is ‘Front Page’ or how to change it. But the 3 pages I selected to be featured (under Theme Options) do NOT show up at all. This is making me sad.

    Is there any way to have those 3 featured pages show up? Is it because I have a sidebar? Would you awesome wizards-on-staff magic this to work?

    Tried Dara too, same problem…is this because the 3 featured pages just will NOT work if there is a sidebar? Or is it something else? I really would love the 3 features pages section, and then to have the side bar start underneath that. Help?

    Hi there,

    The Edin front page template is something different from the page layouts you see immediately when creating a new page. Those page layouts, while you can use them on most themes, were created for our newer themes built specifically for the block editor, while Edin is an older theme that works a bit differently.

    So as you’ll be using Edin’s built-in front page template, rather than the block editor templates, just select the blank page layout when creating a new page – you can also edit one of the pages you’ve already created.

    Once you’re in the editor, make sure the sidebar on the right is on the Page tab. Then you should see page attributes at the bottom. That’s where you’ll select Edin’s front page template:

    Add the content you want to that page, and publish/update.

    Next, go to the Customizer: My Site ->Design ->Customize ->Homepage Settings. There you’ll select this page as your site’s front page:
