staging site issues
-
Hello,
I deleted my staging site from the hosting company. However, WordPress still uses it and directs all traffic to it
https://wordpress.com/marketing/traffic/wedesserts.com::staging::2899
my site wedesserts.com is running fine but it seems that Google does not see it.In addition and strange enough, the WordPress admin traffic site is linked to JetPack which DO NOT have as a plugin.
How can I remove it? It shows on my dashboard and it only shows the traffic/insights. Jetpack now asks me to pay to link my traffic to Google analytics. Is that crazy or not?
How can I delete it completely?Thanks, Thei
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
We have no ability at all to direct traffic to your staging site, as we don’t control either your staging site or your production site’s domains.
The staging site showed in your WordPress.com account because you connected that site via Jetpack over a year ago. Jetpack simply records traffic that visits that site. There is no possible way that it can cause the traffic.
If people are being directed to your staging site, that points to something being configured incorrectly at your hosting provider, so please contact them directly for help with that.

Thanks, I actually unlinked the Jetpack from the staging site and deleted the staging from my hosting site so all is good now.
