Stalker and spammer incidents, request to block IP

  Dear WordPress: I’d like to report a serial stalker and spammer, she has been stalking me on WordPress sites and elsewhere on the Internet for over 6 years. This is the IP address I got from her spam comment:

  Debbie
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  70.198.132.232

  Please contact me if you can block the IP address. I will continue to log stalking and spam incidents by this individual, I know her identity and have reported her to her local police department on two occasions already.

  Thank you for your quick reply. I found out how to moderate and control comments, or simply turn them off to avoid further problems. Thank you for the helpful links, I will keep them handy should I need them. Hopefully I won’t.

  If you want to prevent this person from viewing your blog at all, and you don’t wish to make the blog private, you have the option of obtaining a restraining order and then it becomes a matter for law enforcement.

  Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately the perpetrator would just enjoy the extra attention if I did, and she isn’t worth it. I enjoyed the WordPress article about how to starve a troll, it was great! Thank you again.
