Standard font pops up before chosen font
-
I changed the standard font into another font. When I click on a page the menu-items en site-name pop up in the standard font for a second and then change into my chosen font. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi christelschat!
When you choose a custom font other than the themes default font, the default font will be displayed first as that is the order it is loaded from the CSS. On slower connections it will become more obvious as the default font is showed before the page is finished loading.
To avoid the font changing you will have to stick to the themes default font.
Hope this helps!

Pleasure! Unfortunately it is just something we need to work with (it even has a name, flash of unstyled text or FOUT) as it effects any website, not just WordPress.com sites, that uses custom font like Google Fonts. If you want to read a bit more about it – have a look here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_of_unstyled_content
