Standard Share issues
-
Two issues with standard share buttons:
(1) Share counts seem inaccurate – Our share count seems stuck around 10-11 shares in the stats, even though manually adding up the number of shares via the standard share buttons far exceeds that.
(2) Share buttons have disappeared on older posts. If you scroll down on our main blog at http://greateribm.wordpress.com, the most recent posts have all the standard share buttons that we have setup, which are Email, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, WordPress, Google+. However, starting with the Aug 29 post and backwards, the LinkedIn and Google+ buttons seem to have disappeared even though they DO appear if you click on the post individually (just not in the main blog window).

I’m using Firefox 15.0.1 and I can clearly see sharing buttons on this older post http://greateribm.wordpress.com/2009/04/02/greater-ibmer-jim-moffat-plays-carnegie-hall/ exactly where they are expected to display ie. at the bottom of the post when viewed on it’s one page.

Hi timethief, thanks for your response! Any idea on the other issue? I’ve read every post I could find on this but still not sure I understand. Does WordPress not support the share counts every-time a post is shared via the standard share buttons?
