  i want to work on my blog without it being live or visible to anyone at all is that possible ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> Set blog to Private – only those I invite in can see it – then save changes

  that will shut out everyone including search engines
