  I would like to start my blog site over with the theme. I got confused in creating the pages and I would just like to start fresh with the same domain. Thanks!

  I have a similar questions. I have created 3 different blogs/sites with different themes. I now want to buy my own domain name, but the name I want to buy is not the name of the site with the theme I want use.

  Is there any quick and easy way of either switching the pages or the name?

  All I can think of is change the theme on the the site with the name I want to the theme I want, and then recreate every single page from scratch.

  I can cut and paste the text quite easily, but it will take me ages to re-do all the settings to disable all the comment boxes etc.

  Thanks for any suggestions.

  @amuesetzer – sorry, I didn’t see your post when I first replied. Generally speaking it’s better to start your own thread rather than piggyback on an existing one unless it is the exact same issue as the original poster.

  I may not be entirely understanding what it is that you want to do. However, there doesn’t need to be a connection between the custom domain name you choose and the WordPressdotcom site you apply it to. It helps SEO a bit if they are the same, but it really isn’t critical.
