is there a difference between a User deleting the pages & the WordPress Support team.

what I’m trying to do is clear all the pages etc and then start again using the same site address but select a new Page Design?

    Hi,

You can change the theme of your site by going to
    My Sites
    Design
    Theme

Doing the above will change how your site looks and you don’t need to start over with your site.

If you want to delete the content of your site you can empty your site.

    thanks for the reply

I’ve just started using wordpress, but when I tried creating another site to play about with I found the ‘Brice’ layout would be a good home page.

when I created the page, on the select ‘Home page Layout’ , I selected Brice

to test changing the layout, I changed the page layout to another home page theme.

I went then went back to change change layout – but on the home page layouts, there is no ‘Brice’ theme to select

when I goto the design – theme – is says Mayland is active?

not sure what I’ve done, but starting to think the Brice layout is only available when create a new site from scratch?

    Hi,

I found another topic that talks about Brice that you might find helpful.

    https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/changing-a-page-design/

    It does appear that Brice

Digging into this, it would appear that Brice is only available as a what we call a Headstart Template.

It’s what fills your site with demo content, but only when you start a new site, so it’s not available for use again once the site has been created.

That is a quote from one of the replies from the link above.
