  I am unable to start web design as domain is registered to me and will not import- I need some tech help please

  Hi, I purchased the domain name from wordpress but when I press get started to build the website, the domain is unavailable. I cannot import it nor does it show that I own it. It’s very confusing.

  Thanks for reaching out! It seems like you bought a domain and Business plan for your website using a different user account than the one you’re currently logged into. To start building your site, you’ll need to log out of the current account (@leezeidner) and log in using the account you used to make the purchase.

  If you’re not sure which account you used for the purchase, you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site. You’ll need to provide as much information as you can, including the transaction IDs from the purchase. These IDs can be found on your bank statement as “WordPress” followed by a ten-digit code (e.g. WordPress XXXXXXXXXX).

  Once you’ve submitted the form, WordPress.com support will be in touch with you to help you recover your account. You can find the Account Recovery form at this link:

  Yes I have been trying to recover my account. The receipt ID and all other identification is not recognized.
