Started Blogging Before Creating Pages

Before I really took time to learn the site, I created blogs of differing subjects, uploaded videos, etc. Now, I would like to categorize them onto their own page, in their own category. How do I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Categories and tags can only be applied to posts, not to pages, and you cannot assign posts to pages that you create. Pages you create are for static content that seldom if ever changes.
To sort things into categories, create posts with your content and then assign the appropriate categories to them. Then when someone clicks on the category name in the sidebar widget, it will take them to a listing of only the posts in that particular category.
