Starter Managed WordPress no longer works?
-
A few years ago I purchased the Starter Managed WordPress product through GoDaddy, which is good through Feb 2020. I then purchased an Envato theme and started building a WP website (hosted at Godaddy) which I had set to non-public. I just logged in again after many, many months and found to my surprise that the site is actually live now and probably has been for a while. Trying to unpublish feels like I’m running around in circles. First thing I noticed is that the WP version running is now called WPBakery Page Builder. I ran all the updates thinking that they were required to allow me to unpublish. They all ran successfully except for WP, which gave me the following message: An error occurred while updating WPBakery Page Builder: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?’ It sounds to me like I need to buy yet another WP license. Please help! I already paid for a WP license through Godaddy. Not sure why I need to buy another one!
