    i already have a domain name. If i purchase the Starter level upgrade, can i use the domain name that i already own for my site?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No

    Absolutely, you can use your existing domain with your WordPress.com site when you upgrade to any of our plans, including the Starter plan. You have two options: you can either connect your domain to your site or transfer it to us.
