Starting a Blog: No Blog?

I, very stupidly, clicked on “just a username please,” thinking that I would have time later to set up a blog. Now, since this is my username, and quite nice, as I like it, I would really, really, really like to find out a way to start the blog. I haven’t found a button or thing to fill out to start it, yet. But if anyone has done this and would like to give me some information on how to change it, I would be very grateful.
