Starting a company webbpage

  I currently blog under the webbadress: http://www.jennyovtcharov.com
  I have now started a company and would like to keep my blog but change the name to http://www.jennyovtcharov-blog.com and would like to use the http://www.jennyovtcharov.com to start my company webbpage there.

  How can I do that?
  It’s important that my blog content and the changes I did on the theme stayes the same.

  Hi,

  You have a few options, first off, you could simply have your blog posts on the same wordpress.com as your new company page, if your blog is directly related to your company, this would be advisable because it will help with SEO and other marketing. If you are sure you want to seperate your blog and company page you can change your blog address to jennyovtcharov-blog.com and then keep your old url to start a new company page on. Your current blog will not change, only the url will. Then jennyovtcharov.com will be a blank blog ready for you to start over.

  To do this you will need to follow the instructions on this page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  The article linked above will step you through the process of changing ‘jennyovtcharov.com’ to ‘jennyovtcharov-blog.com’, once you have succesfully transfered you can start using the original url to create your company page.
  Because you want to keep your old url ‘jennyovtcharov.com’ for your new company page, please pay close attention to step 7.

  7. The final option presented on this screen allows you to discard your current address. This option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again.

  so to keep both addresses, DO NOT tick the box.
