I have a question! So I am new to making a website and this one this has stumped me. I have watched many YouTube videos on how to make a website on WordPress and more then half of them say they buy a hosting plan on bluehost. What is blue host exactly and do I need it. Is there hosting when I buy one of the plans on WordPress with the $5 $10 and $33 dollar plans?.

It is important to note that WordPress comes into two different flavours: WordPress.com and self-hosted. You can compare the two here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you decided to use the self-hosted version of WordPress, you would need a hosting provider. Bluehost is one of the most popular, and one of the ones recommended by WordPress themselves.
If you decided to use WordPress.com, WordPress.com would host your site. There is no need to purchase any hosting from external companies – hosting on WordPress.com is free.

All plans, including the Free Plan, offer hosting on WordPress.com. I’m not too familiar with the prices you referenced, but you can confirm pricing here: https://wordpress.com/pricing
