Starting a webiste for business to sell a product

It is not clear if the WORDPRESS pricing includes hosting? the package points to a differnt WOOcommerce provider that also host the website? My goal is to set up a website and create a shopping cart feature to sell my product. I also need someway of processing payment. Is there such a comprehensive package available. the part that confused me was the lack of information for traffic rate, such allowable data for traffic.

Hi there,
Hosting for WordPress.com sites are free for life. In other words, we don’t charge you for having your site on our servers, for the storage space your content uses, software updates, security, spam protection, or the bandwith used by visitors to your site (in other words, we don’t have a maximum allowable traffic rate).
WordPress.com plans only pay for optional extra features, such as a custom domain, extra media storage, and direct support.
For a shopping cart you’ll need to install a plugin like the WooCommerce plugin. The ability to use plugins on WordPress.com is included in the Business Plan at $299 a year. This cost also includes the registration of one domain, or connecting a domain that you already own with another provider.
To get up and running, first visit My Site ->Plans and add the Business Plan to the WordPress.com site you want to use.
Next go to My Site ->Domains and add a custom domain to your site, or add a domain mapping upgrade if you already own the domain you want to use. Please note that in order to install plugins, a mapped domain must be pointed here using name servers, not A records.
Lastly, go to My Site ->Plugins, and install the shopping cart plugin you want to use. Then you can start adding content to your site.
Once you have the Business Plan you’ll also be able to access live chat support where one of my colleagues can walk you through this process step by step if needed.

Thank you very much for the clarification. Is payment processing included with the WOOcommerce plugin? If not, what is the solution to that?

The basic WooCommerce plugin does come with some payment options, but depending on your needs you might need to add additional WooCommerce extensions to get the exact functionality you need. Some of those extensions might be Premium extensions, meaning you’ll need to pay WooCommerce an additional fee to use them.
