Starting a website with a WordPress theme and a GoDaddy hosting account

    Hello all,
    Thank you for this help. I made one years ago but so much has changed….I just purchased a GoDaddy hosting account and purchased also a Domain name through them. Then I had seen a beautiful WordPress theme that I liked from the Envato company. I just downloaded the files for the theme. Next I’m wondering what the best way to go about it is…How do I install the wordpress theme into the GoDaddy dashboard? Is it that I need to install the theme on a WordPress account and build the site there and then connect it to GoDaddy or can I transfer the theme onto the Godaddy site and then build from there?
    Lastly If I want an English and French side to the site do I have to install something beforehand? The Theme I purchased is a WordPress Church theme.

    It sounds like you’re using a self-hosted version of WordPress on GoDaddy’s hosting. This support forum is designed to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by WordPress.com.
