  I want to close my account and start again. Rationale is that I’m now based in India (and will be for the foreseeable future as I’m from India) and I see that you have different rates and packages for India users. But I’m not being able to access that through this account (which was opened when I was in the US, but has largely been dormant since then).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can follow these instructions to permanently cancel your account: https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/

  Please note:

  This not only shuts down your username, it deletes all the sites you own and all their contents. After a few weeks, this data will be entirely purged from our servers and the process cannot be reversed. Therefore, please be certain you want to cancel your entire WordPress.com presence before proceeding.

  You may also consider less drastic steps:

  Change your username if you are unhappy with it.
  Empty a site of its posts, pages, and media.
  Delete an individual site.
  Unsubscribe from WordPress.com email notifications, by going to your subscription settings and checking the box that says Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com.
