Starting blog and new primary isn't showing up on page want to post

Trying to post my first blog. Except when type up the content as a draft, it shows my former primary domain name not the new one that is now selected as primary. How do I get that changed? Total novice at using this wordpress so please give me step by step. Thanks!

Could you tell me how are you accessing the New Post page?
How many domains do you have? Are you logged in to the appropriate Dashboard?
