starting example.wordpress.com by mistake instead of www.example.co.uk/blog

I need my wordpress blog to be at the same address as my website. I am new to this so please excuse my ignorance. I bought a domain name and hosting yesterday, and I then downloaded the wordpress app into that hosting to run wordpress blog from my website at http://www.stratedia.co.uk/blog. But my mistake when I went to purchase the ‘standard’ premium blog from wordpress I ended up creating a stratedia.wordpress.com by mistake. I dont want to have to buy the standard premium theme again, I just want to start over by uploading the standard theme that I have already paid for to my own website /blog and not use the stratedia.wordpress.com blog that I started by mistake yesterday – is this possible??
    Please help
    thanks
    Blog url: http://stratedia.wordpress.com/

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think you may be confusing wordpress.com, and self hosted wordpress sites, with support at wordpress.org….

If you go to your site there’s a link ‘log in’ on the lower right that will take you to
    http://www.stratedia.co.uk/blog/wp-login.php

You can log in there using the name and password you entered while installing wordpress.

There is no “standard Premium” all blogs are free here – were you charged for anything? If so you can get a refund for any WordPress.COM charges – I will flag this for staff attention in case you were charged here

Your REAL site is not connected to WordPress.COM as you have a different host. Please see below

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/

PS – just set your extra site here to Private in case you ever want to use it –

    Dashboard >> Settings >> privacy

Once an address / name is deleted here it is gone forever

Pssst: Standard is the name of the theme which the original poster is using.

I think he / she wants a refund for the wp.com version of Standard, and wants to buy the wp.org version of the theme on his own hosted site.

Here is how to get a refund for a premium theme:

If a Premium theme doesn’t work out we offer a full refund up to 30 days from your purchase. To cancel your purchase and obtain a refund, please use the Cancel button on the Store -> My Upgrades page. You can always switch to any other Premium theme or one of our other fantastic free themes. And don’t worry, we’re adding more and more free themes all the time. :)

Thanks – I guess that is what happens when I never change themes and don’t really pay any attention to the spam like flood of new themes
