Starting my blog.

Hi everyone. I hope there’s anyone who will be willing to help me with starting my blog.
I think I must be completely stupid or wordpress is not that easy to use. I know how to post new blog and check my stats etc. but I’ m confused and have no clue how to find other blogs with the same interest (photography, art, travel). Is there a search bar (that I cannot see) ? All I can see is suggested blogs.
The other thing is why some blogs look / are webs instead of blog entries.
And what’s also confusing is that sometimes I have this black bar on top of the page where on left I have “my sites”, “reader” on in right corner a thumbnail of my profile photo and the next thing I only have blue bar with different options :/ What is this all about? Why two bars and do I switch from one to another?
I also seam to not find the way to preview my blog main page either. I’m so frustrated bc I’m quite it literate but this is just confusing. Please helpThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Finding new blogs: You can use the reader in the home page to view and subscribe to blogs of your interest. You can find more details about the reader feature here. You can use the add topic button to search for something specific.Admin bar(black bar): The black bar is the quick access admin bar, using which you can navigate amongst your sites and other WordPress settings. If you are logged into WordPress.com, you will see this bar show up when you are browsing a site that is hosted by WordPress.com. You can find more details about the bar here.
That said, I didn’t understand the part about the blue bars ? Could you be a bit more detailed. I would be glad to help you further. -

The blue bar I get whenever I click on the thumbnail(my photo) on the black bar right corner. The bar is wider and also gives me “my sites” and “reader” and in right corner I get “create new post” (pencil), my profile updates and notifications. From this point I don’t get it how to get back to my black bar :/ Am I really that thick? ;) -
The blue bar is also the admin bar, same as the black bar only that the colours are changed to match with the content you are seeing below in the page. The black bar will be visible as soon as you browse to your site or any other site hosted on WordPress.com. You don’t need to worry about the colour of the bars as the do the same things mostly.

tbh I never checked if the content is the same. Thank you for your help. Lets hope I can finally get on with my blogging now :)
