Starting my blog

    Bloggers and blog readers, I’m kind of freaking out here. Is wordpress.com completely free? Or am I going to receive emails saying that I haven’t paid my monthly fee? I chose a free plan but as I have been researching, I may have misunderstood that plan. I’m very very new to this and I am really confused. Please, anyone, help me out by telling me if wordpress.com is free or not?

    Hi there, no worries. If you didn’t upgrade your site with a plan, then you are on the free hosted plan. You can stay with the free plan without ever upgrading for as long as you like.

    Any upgrade plan simply adds more features to your site. You can see a quick comparison chart on the pricing page https://wordpress.com/pricing/ or for more info https://en.support.wordpress.com/plan-features/
