Starting out, help please!

Hello. I see now that I hadn’t connected my WordPress.com account to my ‘Ladies’ Mental Health’, however, I wish to change the name of my website to ‘Sisterly, Strong and Healthy’. What are my options since I purchases in (March or April?). Thank you

Hi there,
Are you trying to change your site title (for example My Groovy Site), or your site URL (www.mygroovysite.com)?

Hi there,
I am only learning this. Thanks so much for your help.
I named my writing business and began a website on WordPress (www.ladiesmentalhealth.com), however, I have changed my mind about the name of the business.I’m thinking I have two problems: The first being that I might have to pay another near $190 to register to my new business (as http://www.sisterlystrongandhealthy.com) since it’s been past the time given to change it. The second being that I think I did this backwards–I registered my new choice (www.sisterlystrongandhealthy.com) on the hosting platform (Bluehost) before I did made sure that I could do this.
Any help for the technically challenged would be appreciated!
Patricia

Okay, so first, your site is not “on” WordPress. It’s built using the WordPress software, and you’re hosting that at Bluehost.com. To change the domain, you’ll need to contact support at Bluehost for help – you’ll both need to register a different domain, and then follow Bluehost’s process to change the domain on the site itself.
The forum you’re posting in now is for WordPress.com, a hosting provider like Bluehost. Your site is not hosted with us, just connected to us via a plugin called Jetpack. That plugin allows you to manage your content and certain site settings using a WordPress.com account, but it doesn’t give us control over or access to your site itself.
For future reference, help with the version of WordPress you’re using is provided by the WordPress.org community who makes that software at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
But in this case it’s an issue with your hosting setup, not with the software, so Bluehost support is who you need here.

A .com domain like that shouldn’t cost more than $20 at most. If you originally paid $190 to Bluehost, that would have been for both your domain AND your hosting plan with them. If you just want to add an additional/different domain to your site, you’ll only need to pay for the domain, not another hosting plan as well. You’d only pay for a second hosting plan if you also create a second, completely new site.
The second being that I think I did this backwards–I registered my new choice (www.sisterlystrongandhealthy.com) on the hosting platform (Bluehost) before I did made sure that I could do this.
If you already registered the new domain, you’re halfway there. So now you just need to contact Bluehost support so they can help you connect the new domain to your existing site.
