  I am trying to start over and keep my current URL address. I set this up for a blog site when in fact I need an e-commerce site where I can sell the products I have to offer. Any help would be appreciated.

  You can empty your site content with these instructions:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
  This will allow you maintain ownership of your URL and you will be able to start over and both the content and design of your site.

  The only e-commerce support on WordPress.com is through PayPal and you can learn more about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
