Starting Over

I have never been able to make the mmneset.wordpress.com, Stories blog work right for me. Even if with Custom design support. Tonight I changed themes but actually what I want to do is wipe it totally clean and start over with a new theme entirely. CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THIS PLEASE. Thanks much. Marjorie

Hi there,
When you switch themes, you already largely start over again in the theme department. Any CSS changes you made to your previous theme will be cleared, depending on the sidebar configuration differences between the two themes, the sidebars will be cleared as well. You’ll usually have to upload a new header too.
Just by switching themes you’ll be doing a lot of what you’re talking about, but even if it doesn’t all go away, you can just go to your Dashboard and then navigate to Appearance >> Customize, and then just go down the list of items on the right hand navigation bar and clear any customizations which you’ve made in your Customizer. You’ll be good to go!

Thanks much. I think I have it under control now. I’ve never had a problem with any themes other than DUO so from here on it should be fine. But since I’m only semi-WordPress literate I’m sure I’ll be back with something new.
