starting over

I wish to change my theme and start over, but cannot even find the dashboard to change themes. Any simple guide to do this would be a great help. Not a very intuitive set up. Is it because I used the one click set up?

Hi @sixpasteleven – The 1 click install is describing the installation of WordPress for self hosted sites using WordPress.org.
WordPress.com (here) and WordPress.org are entirely different. If you want, you can read more about those differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
What is the URL of the site that you need help with? I can tell you for certain if it is using WordPress.com or WordPress.org.
On WordPress.com you can change your theme easily by navigating to my sites > theme. Here are all of the available themes to choose from on WordPress.com: http://wordpress.com/themes/

I started with Twenty-twenty theme and have done exactly what you say – activated the Sketch theme but twenty-twenty is still there

When I visit sixpastelevenblog.wordpress.com it is using The Sketch Theme. Do you need any further help?

That’s what it says, but doesn’t seem anything like it. I’ve gone over to Muse instead now – bit more intuitive for me. Many thanks for your help and time. All the best!
