Starting over

I want to completely wipe out what is on my page, including what first pops up when you type in the website name. I only want to keep the domain and website name. I’ve deleted all my posts, but when I type up the website name, it still opens that same page I started 5 years ago. I really don’t like it and would like to get rid of it and start over but I haven’t been able to do so. I’ve tried deleting categories, etc. Help!

Hi! Thanks for the response. I’ve gone through and done the bulk delete on all posts, etc. But when I type in my website, it comes up in Google search, and I select it, the original welcome page, or whatever you call it, is still there. That’s what pops up on first look. I want to totally change that, the purpose for the site, mission statement, etc. Can’t seem to figure out how to do that. When I go to the links to empty posts, categories, etc., it says there are none. Yet that is still there when I click on my link. I think I’m just totally website and blog illiterate.
