  Hi,
  I need some help getting my account working again after a hiatus.

  I set up a word press account over a year ago but was not able to progress it much at the time, (never published anything but did draft a few pages). Now I have some time on my hands, I have signed in but can’t do even basic things, for example :
  1. access any of the draft pages I had created
  2. use basic functionality to create new pages (it hangs when loading or doesn’t save the new page)
  Is there is something basic/fundamental I am missing?

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.
